TEMPORARY RESIDENCE PERMIT

Students who plan to stay in Croatia for more than 90 days are obliged to apply for the approval of a temporary stay for the purpose of studies. You must apply for temporary residence no later than 8 days after the expiration of that three-month (90 days) period.

If your stay does not exceed a continuous period of 90 days, registration is not required, as the 90-day period without a registration obligation resets each time they leave and re-enter the country (e.g., tourist trips to neighboring countries, weekend trips home, trips home for holidays, etc.).

For the residence permit procedure you will need stamped Invitation letter from our Faculty - you can get scaned document via mail mobilnost@fsb.hr and original in person at Mobility Office in faculty main building (address: Ivana Lučića 5, Zagreb, working hours: 8 am – 3 pm)
Bring your invitation letter along with other documentation from The UNIZAG guide "Useful information" for residence permit procedure to the Foreigners' Office - Central Police Station (address: Remetinečki gaj 13, HR-10000 Zagreb, working hours: 8 am – 3:00 pm) or you can send it via email: zg.drzavljanstvo.stranci@mup.hr (documents should not exceed 20 MB)
